At Sagent Behavioral Health (formerly Nystrom & Associates), one of my favorite parts of my jobs was working with mental health providers to create SEO content that showed up in a ton of different ways.

I worked closely with subject matter experts like therapists, psychiatrist, psychologists, and social workers to create content around practical tips for working with anxiety, depression, and other things I’ve never experienced.

It was a ton of fun. Plus, it was free therapy.

Here are some of my favorites.

How to Use AI for Your Mental Health

I conducted research, helped develop the podcast episode, and then turned that episode into this SEO-powered blog.

Subject matter experts: Dr. Karin Ryan, LP, and Brett Cushing, LMFT

Social Media and Teens: More Harm Than Good?

A blog I wrote after we interviewed one of our therapists to help parents mitigate the negative mental health effects of social media on their teens.

Subject matter experts: Jon Kirby, MA, LMFT

Check the Facts: How to Stop an Anxious Spiral

I worked with one of our therapists to develop a “DBT Skill of the Month” video series that went out to all employees. These videos shared quick, simple mental health skills that anyone could use to improve their wellbeing.

I’d write the script, edit and create the video, develop the internal communication, and then I’d turn it into a blog and social media post.

Subject matter expert: Rebecca Neeck, LICSW
